Pistachio oven roasted and lightly salted are a delicious snack. The inside kernels are pink and green on the outside and creamy on the inside.
They are a rich source of protein, mono-unsaturated fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins like vitamin E, B complex groups and minerals like copper, manganese, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and selenium.
These pistachios are delicious as they are as a snack but can also be used in recipes as a replacement for pecans and pine nuts for a different flavour.
